My mornings used to genrally start with "neha uth ja late ho jaegi;School nai jana" later school was replaced by office .. my morning alarm clock ..n as per habbit telling me always the wrong time so dat i get up early....every satnight oiling my hair n cribbing over my rebonding or a latest haircut ....waiting for me at d gate if i got late even by few minutes ; cribbing over my non nutrious diet ...scolding over my endless talks over d phne..staying awake entire night if i was unwell n accepting all my demands of "muje kuch acha khana hai ...kuch acha bna do"...feeling proud in all my highs..n standing like a pillar on all my lows ...Dats my mom her pet dialougue" dekhna shaadi k baad ma ki value realise hogi "
Today I m miles away from her ..getting up without her [on time] cooking, doing all d house hold chores but missing her scolding missing my saturday night oiling; missing her sumputous meals...her pampering to d core .Mom u r the best mom in dis entire world " I m what I m coz of u ma "...I still remember when ppl used 2 praise me u used 2 only smile ..but ur smile used 2 say everything ...Thnk u

ReplyDeleteI understand all that you want to say and all that remains unsaid. Aaahhhh... I miss my mom!!
When I started writing this comment I had so much in mind but now, all I can say is- we are lucky to have such wonderful mothers!
Hey girl... this is to poke you hard and push you into writing. I know that you write really well but what saddens me is that I hardly see you posting here.
ReplyDeleteYou are my support-system. Like I say- 'Had it not been for your kind words and boundless enthusiasm, "meri blog ki dukaan kab ka band ho chuki hoti" :)'.
Thanks for all the appreciation. Every time I publish a post, I know you'd read it and that's what keeps me going :) I know that you have been pretty busy in the last few days but you still managed to read my blogs. You are my true SAHELI :). You'd never know what how much your words mean to me!!
That is a wonderful post Anukriti, Moms are always the best :-)for sure.
